2026 is almost here, which means it’s time for the Stock Pick Competition for Investors and Stock Devils. We’ve asked various experts to share their three favorite stocks for the upcoming year.

This year, the series has been revamped. Throughout December, we will feature one buy recommendation each day, instead of presenting them all at once. That means you’ll start the new year with 31 valuable tips. Additionally, the recommendations will be published on our sister site, IEX.nl, where we’ve created a dedicated page that neatly lists all the expert insights.

The first four recommendations are already available:

• Wouter Slot (technical analyst at Tostrams) suggests a stock that appears poised for a breakout, according to the price charts.
• Martine Hafkamp (founder of Fintessa Vermogensbeheer) highlights a stock that has seen significant price movement but still has substantial upward potential, allowing you to capitalize on every technological trend.
• Nico Bakker, a technical analyst and owner of BTAC Visual Analysis, presents a contrarian buy suggestion.
• Jaap Steur from Axento Vermogensbeheer recommends a Chinese company that plays a critical role in the energy transition.
